I think Dick Cheney is a shovel-ready project! He's a callous ghoul who deserves to be imprisoned for treason.

Chicago Cubs Owners Rail Against Gov't Spending While Asking Taxpayers For $300 Million To Renovate Wrigley Field
OOPS! I guess it's okay to spend, spend, spend when it's for something that THEY believe in. But for everyone else, it's governmental "waste". And they wonder why we doubt their sincerity. F*cking hypocrites!

Chris Wallace Says He Knows How To 'Satisfy A Woman,' Tells Radio Host To Hire An Escort (AUDIO)
I'm pretty sure Fox "News" host Chris Wallace satisfies most women, just by not subjecting them to his clumsy advances. Ha! ;-)

Divorce! It's Good for the Children!
Ms. Smiley alludes to a step-father, though she never says whether or not her mom divorced or was a widow. I tend to think it's the latter, because having had parents who divorced when I was 14 I can tell you it was NOT good for me. Starting with the counseling session where I was blind-sided and told of my parents plans, and asked who did I "choose" to live with now? Ad to that the constant moving into new apartments, and not having a male role model to emulate or look to for reassurance. Then there was having to accept my parents new mates because it was what was expected of you. Divorce ripped me from a safe world, and through me into an uncertain environment where I was forced to grow up much sooner than was natural or beneficial. I don't know many kids who went through divorce who would claim that it was "good" for them. After all, the kids are the only ones who have no choice in the matter!

Bush's Waterboarding Admission Prompts Calls For Criminal Probe
I'm pretty sure that if someone other than George Bush admitted to a crime on national television, it would take hours or days at the most before they were arrested and prosecuted. Let's say a professional athlete admitted on television that he had hit-and-run someone. I think that they would arrest and prosecute that athlete quickly. So in this case, you have a public figure who has openly admitted to a war crime. Why should he NOT be prosecuted?!

Keith Olbermann: Jon Stewart Jumped The Shark At Rally
As a die-hard fan of Olberman, and a fan of both Stewart and Colbert, AND someone who was AT the rally, I agree. This was not a fight Keith should have chosen. It seems that he my have tried to walk it back a bit later. Personally, I think there's room for all of them, and Rachel Maddow too. We need as many smart voices as possible -- some loud, soft funny.
