It's a shame that people feel the need to use this to promote their own issues like violence in profession
al sports. This story is sad because those of us in Chicago knew what a great player DD was and what a good person he seemed to be off the field. The 1985 team that DD played on meant SO much to a city that hadn't had a world championsh
ip in decades. We adopted them as our own and DD was a big part of that team. I only hope that this was somehow natural causes rather than foul play or self-infli
