I was watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes but couldn't finish -- I found it too emotionally disturbing.

Saturday so far: raisin french toast, hot bath, dishes, dog beach, dry cleaning, bills paid. Later, nap with Roxy and Blu Ray movie tonight.

Me & Roxy just raced a 5 yr old down the block and won. To be fair: the 5 yr old was wearing cowboy boots. :-)

It's the first day of spring. In Chicago it will be 81º today. Flowers are out. Birds are singing. It's really nice here... for a change.

I saw a pre-teen beauty contestant walking w/ her mother today. With a boyish face, and too much makeup she looked like a drag queen. ;-)
